Position title
Senior Azure DevOps Engineer
Requirement
  • 4+ years of experience with DevOps
  • 2+ years experience in Kubernetes and Docker
  • 10+ years experience in Engineering, preferably as a senior engineer and architect
  • Experience in working with Scrum processes in an agile environment
  • Understanding of cloud native architecture principles and familiarity with deploying workloads to cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or similar providers
  • Self-driven in adopting the latest technology with micro services and container providers
  • 4+ years of experience in one or more CI/CD Tools such as (Puppet, Azure Pipelines, Chef)
  • 4+ years experience in database technologies such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server and SQLAzure
  • Experience with incorporating monitoring tools into services including New Relic, Application Insights and DataDog
Responsibilities
  • Develop standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness
  • Advise and make recommendations related to testing techniques and processes
  • Establish CI and CD pipielines across the company’s product suite
  • Incorporate monitoring capabilities into all products
  • Incorporate infrastructure as code to provide new environments and testing infrastructure
  • Automate and setup tools to facilitate CI keeping with quality practices
  • Deploy workloads across data centers and cloud native providers
  • Mentor engineers in better approaches to facilitate performant deployments
  • Assist other developers with blockers related to Infrastructure as code or environmental issues in the development process
